Postings:
I was determined I would do weekly posts this year during the festival. Well that didn't exactly happen last week, but I'll try and do better. I've decided instead of doing a long detailed post per weekend, (Cat, I have no idea how you find the time...) I would try and do smaller, "bite-sized" posts as time allows.
Weather & Attendance:
So starting out about the first weekend: How about that weather? With an official high of 66°F they day dawned misty and improved to gray. Sunday started out really cloudy and deteriorated to a good hard rain that improved to light rain on and off all day. The high was 62°F and it ended up being one of those boring days that dragged on and on.
Not a bad opening weekend attendance-wise: 20,333 on Saturday, and 10,459 on Sunday, officially a Rain Day, but not as good as last year's opening.
Next time: What's new (and old) with the Beefeaters: _________________ Sir David Falstaff
