we are ok. lost some trees and just got power restored. Had a generator. I missed it all. I evacuated to cancun Mexico. I have arial shots of Galveston on return flight. Very Bad.

We were without lights for 11 days (decided to stay for this one,dumb). The phone being of the cable type,out. No gas, food, water(salt in city water),but had to deliver mail. What fun, when is the next one? House damaged, but it could have been worse.
Glad to read everyone did okay, sort of.

Sorry to hear about the damage and the tribulations caused by Ike, but thankful you are okay.
